Dozens of local retail shops are within a short bicycle ride or an old-fashioned trolley ride. Internationally known St. Armands Key is 20 minutes away, and full-service grocery shopping is only four minutes away. Browse for local art and crafts, apparel, and jewelry, or stop for a bite of lunch, in Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, or Bradenton Beach.

Anna Maria Island offers over twenty excellent, top-rated restaurants within a 10-minute drive. You are located just a few blocks from the Beach Bistro, one of the finest restaurants in the area.

There are over 36 golf courses within a half-hour drive from your condo. There are 18 golf courses in Bradenton and 32 in Sarasota.

Fishing, Boating, and Diving

The city of Anna Maria offers one of the finest full-service marinas in the country. The best guides for both inshore and offshore excursions, kayak and canoe echo tours, and power and sailboat rentals are all available a short drive from your condo.

Entertainment

Live theater, art galleries, and orchestra are available on the island, and Sarasota (the cultural center of Southeast Florida) is a 25-minute drive. The Holmes Beach Library is only three minutes from the condo, and the internationally recognized Mote Marine Center and Aquarium is only 10 minutes away.

Football with the Tampa Buccaneers, and the spring baseball camps of the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, and New York Yankees, are all within an hour's drive.

Theme Parks

Florida is the world's playground. Many amusement parks, water parks, and zoos are within easy driving distance. Disney World and Sea World are a 2-1/2 hour drive, and world-famous Busch Gardens and Cypress Gardens are a 1-1/2 hour drive.
